Organization Overview

People Working Cooperatively (PWC) performs critical home repairs and services so that low-income homeowners can remain in their homes living independently and healthier in a safe, sound environment. We proudly complete more than 8,200 home repairs, energy conservation, and accessibility modification services for low-income, elderly, disabled clients each year. Our 130+ full-time, professional staff, backed by more than 3,000 volunteers, complete services including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, concrete, HVAC, roofing and gutter, and emergency services.

The Impact of the Donation

These funds will be used to assist PWC clients who urgently need home repairs or accessibility modifications. Projects include fixing broken water pipes, heating issues, electrical hazards, ramp installation, and more by PWC’s trained, licensed, and bonded staff of skilled tradespeople.

We are deeply grateful for the support of PWC’s mission. This contribution will enable us to assist families who would otherwise struggle to manage the necessary home repairs on their own, ensuring they can remain safe and healthy in their homes.”
